Online forms often ask for a photo and signature in an exact size and a small file. This tool includes sizes for SSC, UPSC, bank exams (IBPS and SBI) and NEET or JEE, and you can also type your own size.
It uses the same size list as Exam & job form photo in the ScanOrbit app. Sizes here are the ones built into the ScanOrbit app. Rules can change, so check your form or embassy notice before you upload.
How to use
- Pick the exam or form from the list, or choose My own size.
- Choose Crop to fill for photos, or Fit inside for signatures.
- Add your picture, press Make photo, and download the JPG.
Tips
- Use a clear photo with a plain background. Crop to fill centres the picture, so frame yourself first.
- For a signature, sign in black or blue ink on white paper and photograph it in good light.
- Sizes here are the ones built into the ScanOrbit app. Rules can change, so check your form or embassy notice before you upload.
Questions
What size is the SSC photo?
In this tool the SSC photo is 3.5 × 4.5 cm and 20–50 KB, and the SSC signature is 6 × 2 cm and 10–20 KB. Always check the current notice.
Can I set my own size?
Yes. Choose My own size and type the width and height in pixels and the largest file size in KB.
Is my photo uploaded?
No. It is resized in your browser and never leaves your device.
Why is the file under the minimum size?
Small or plain pictures compress very small. Use a photo with more detail, or a higher-resolution picture.
